Soul Mountain, the most personal project of the musician Jordi Mestre.
The artist from Lleida has united his two passions, music and love for nature, taking his melody to the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees.
With the collaboration of cameraman Jordi Rulló, his songs come to life with fascinating images, full of magic and authenticity.
Each note of Soul Mountain seeks to inspire us and make us think about the real problems of global warming. It invites us to contemplate the beauty of nature, but also to be aware of its fragility. What and how is our relationship with nature and high mountains? How can we preserve and protect these wonderful natural spaces for future generations?
Thanks to the scholarship granted by Cases de la Música, Jordi Mestre has been able to record Soul Mountain’s first studio album, and has donated all the tracks on the album and the profits to the Kilian Jornet Foundation, to continue working on the preservation of the mountains and their surroundings.
